Summer is here, and so is the season for weddings. Brides have a million things to worry about but makeup is one thing she should not have to worry about. Once on, she should not have to worry about looking her best all day on her special day or how she will look in her photographs.
The first thing you should consider is wearing waterproof makeup. You are likely to get teary eyed and don’t want your makeup running.
You should first apply primer, then a foundation without SPF (SPF will make your face looked washed out in photographs). Use concealer under your eyes and on any imperfections. Apply blush to the apples of your cheeks and hairline; be careful not to over apply. Use your matte bronzer and apply it under your cheek bones to contour. Contouring will look great in photographs.
Highlight: suck in your cheeks to find your cheek bones, and apply highlighter there and down your nose. They also make under eye highlighter, but it's different so be careful. You can use this under the brow bone and in the inner corners of your eyes to make them look more awake.
Using a pencil, powder, gel or wax, define your eyebrows. For eye shadow, choose neutral, not bright. You can use color, just not bright color. Apply the lightest color fist, medium color in the crease, and darkest color in the outer V (between the crease and lashes.) Put on eyeliner, curl your lashes and put on mascara. Set your make up with powder and wear lip liner, lip gloss, lipstick or lip stain. Use a powder puff to buff out any cakey spots.
